How Do Men Last Longer in Bed?

According to a study that was published by the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the average
time that of sex should last anywhere between 7-10 minutes. Although some men are
able to reach that level, about 54% of the male participants in the study didn’t last long.
In fact, they got off well under 2 minutes!

To be fair, this is actually quite common for men all over the world. Not being able to
finish off boils down mainly on two underlying conditions: premature ejaculation and
erectile dysfunction.

In recent statistics, 1 in 10 men all over the world is suffering from either premature
ejaculation (PE), erectile dysfunction (ED) or both. The former is defined as a man’s
inability to control their ejaculation, allowing them to finish way too quickly from the
average and the latter is where a man is unable to maintain a solid erection long
enough for them to ejaculate.

There are certainly some remedies to these problems and taking male enhancement
pills is one of them, along with having a balanced diet and a relatively active lifestyle.

Premature Ejaculation

There are two types of PE: Primary and Secondary. Primary PE is often caused by
psychological factors and it is believed that men who have this were already suffering
from this early on in their lives.

Secondary PE is due to lifestyle, environmental, and physical factors and can affect
men later on in their lives.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile Dysfunction happens much later in a man’s life. In fact, over 50% of sufferers
get this once they reach the age of 40 and above. As you can tell, it is often caused by
physical and psychological conditions.

Some of the major culprits that lead to ED are high blood pressure, high cholesterol,
diabetes, heart disease, and low testosterone levels. Do keep in mind that the latter
happens naturally as men’s testosterone levels dip about 2% every year starting the
age of 30.

Performance Anxiety

Either or both of these conditions may lead to performance anxiety in men. This is
usually defined as anxiety that relates to a man’s inability to satisfy their partners
sexually.

What Can Be Done

Despite the fact that both PE and ED are common, these conditions are highly
treatable. Here are some of the things that you can if you are suffering from either PE,
ED, or both:

  • Practice Self-Control- Since Primary PE is caused by psychological factors; you
can actually train yourself to buy you some more time. I suggest that you learn
the squeeze and the stop-start method as a start.
  • Engage in Foreplay- Men typically reach orgasm in a much different way than
men do. While men typically reach orgasm when they engage in penetrative sex,
women actually look at the overall experience. If you come off way too quickly,
engaging in more foreplay really helps make her happy
  • Use Thick Condoms- Men who suffer from PE often are overstimulated by the
sensation that they feel down there whenever they enter their partner’s vagina.
Using thicker condoms can dampen the feeling down there which helps a lot.
